Encourage future generations

Atlas Electrical Appliances seeks for keeping initiatives which go far beyond the industrial production. A citizen attitude which provides human development, through cultural development, sports, people specialization and environment respect.


  • PARTNERSHIP WITH IPG
    PARTNERSHIP WITH IPG Within the Cultural Encouragement Law, Atlas Electric Appliances keeps several works in partnership with Prosdócimo Guerra Institute. Through the Institute which has Socrates Petrycoski (Atlas Electric Appliances Superintendent) its Vice-President, craftsman workshops, art, language training are held and there is a special support for children who take part in the Thousand Voices Choir/ Sementes Guerra at the end of each year.
  • ATLAS INCLUSION
    ATLAS INCLUSION We count on with over 27 employees with special necessities in different sectors of the company: Installation, Expedition, Warehouse, Painting and Enameling.
    Atlas helps financially the Parents and Friends Association of Exceptional Children - APAE, a non-governmental entity which maintains educational activities, medical care, psychological and social support, and besides provides professional training and inclusion of students in the labor market.
  • TOMORROW SEEDS
    TOMORROW SEEDS Atlas Electric Appliances supports PATO BRANCO Welfare Foundation - FUNDABEM. A non-governmental social entity which helps children and teenagers with personal difficulties.
    They have recreation, school tutoring, cultural and professional activities. In addition, their parents receive preparation in the Education Program for Youths and Adults.
  • ATLAS CENTER OF TCHOUKBALL EXCELLENCE
    ATLAS CENTER OF TCHOUKBALL EXCELLENCE Physical Education teachers keep fitness activities for young people who are interested in learning more about the Tchoukball.
    It is a sport that incorporates plasticity, inclusion, large use of strategy and the most important, without violence, because there is no physical contact.

    It is the sport of peace. People with different physical conditions, both sexes and all ages can practice it. The results are visible for Pato Branco: Champion of Brazilian Cup of Tchoukball in 2005; Champion of Brazilian Cup Beach Tchoukball (Copacapana RJ) in 2006; First Place in Paulista Tchoukball Championship in 2006 and South American Tchoukball Champion in Concordia, Argentina, in 2006 in male and female categories

    Counting on with six athletes who participated in the Brazilian team in three world championships. Claudio Petrycoski, Atlas business board chairman, always emphasizes that Tchoukball is much more than a sport: it is a concept, an ideal.

    Atlas was the official sponsor of the Brazilian Tchoukball Team which participated of the England championship (2004) and Switzerland (2005). Athletes from Pato Branco: Satiro Bertuol Junior Paulo Ferronatto, Luiz Mendes, Cristiano Simionatto Sergio Deufino and Jonas Mackievicz were sponsored by the company during global participation as Brazilian titular athletes.

    THE ALIVE TRADITION FLAME The company has sponsored for more than 12 years actions to rescue the gaucho tradition.
    The Native Tarca CTG, Pato Branco - PR, is one of the entities which have obtained in recent years the biggest number of victories in events which restore and disseminate the traditionalism, giving emphasis on their dances.
  • WITHOUT BORDERS
    WITHOUT BORDERS Through Prosdocimo Guerra Institute children have received Esperanto lessons, which is an international language with more than 100 years, being recognized by UNESCO as cultural value, which has recommended its teaching to all the United Nations members.

    Spoken by more than one million people in the world, it is among the 13 most common languages on the Internet. Its roots is from Latin, and contain fragments of English, Spanish, Portuguese, French.

    Advantages: Ease learning. Often considered easier than English; ensures the equally concept among people and allows international exchanges and friendship. Universal language that does not improve just a few nationalities. The idea of building a more equal world has led Atlas Electric Appliances to sponsor the language spreading, being the great promoter of the International Youth Esperanto - IJK, in Pato Branco, where, in 2005 gathered participants from 23 nationalities.

    In Pato Branco, in Nova Espero village , the Esperanto founder, Polish humanist and linguist Lazaro Zamenhof, received a special tribute by the building of a great gate made with iron, created by the artist Kalu Chueiri.

    The work with the IJK, received six pages featured on the Brazilian magazine "ISTO É".

    ART ON THE STREET Pato Branco has monuments specially made under President Claudio Petrycoski supervision which, besides being different, are attraction icons in the city.

    The mural with images in low relief at Theóphilo Petrycoski Industrial Park, specially designed by the artist from Cascavel, Nelson Joseffi highlights the metallurgic pioneers saga and recognizes the Theophilo’s role in the local industry.

    And there is the monument by Kalu Chueiri, The Metallurgical, with more than 12 meters high, praises the people recognition to who built the segment and the Atlas Electric Appliances support to Tchoukball and Esperanto.
  • ALIVE FLAME CHOIR
    ALIVE FLAME CHOIR Special moments are presented through the Alive Flame Choir, with more than 14 years of history.
    With about 30 components, it performs songs in Portuguese, Latin and Esperanto.
    For eight years Atlas Electric Appliances also kept the Choir “Little Flame”, formed by children.

    ATLAS PATOART The development through theatrical expression is encouraged by Atlas Electric Appliances for more than 12 years, which sponsors the Atlas Theater PatoArt Group. That group got recognition in events for the creativity of its performances.

    The Group has about 20 components and performs the presentations in Esperanto language, inclusive some of the pieces were invited to take part on the Brazilian and World Congress of Esperanto. Performs in Brasilia (DF), in Fortaleza (CE) in Petropolis (RJ) and other parts of the country and the world.

    Recently the group performed two plays at Guairinha Theater on the Pilot Workshop of Continuing Theater Exhibition, event carried out by the Culture Government Department of Paraná State.
  • LIVING MEMORY
    LIVING MEMORY Seeking to create a museum Atlas Electric Appliances is collecting old stoves, machines, equipment and utensils which show the evolution of the product and its manufacturing process, since the handmade assembly phase of the wood-burning stoves.
    In this rescue work, an anvil used by Theóphilo Petrycoski in Erebango, RS, at the beginning of his work in metalwork and blacksmithing in the 40s, as purchased.
  • ACTIVE SPORT
    ACTIVE SPORT The Gymnasium of the Petrycoski Industries Staff Association - AFIP, has one of the most advanced technologies for sports practicing in the State.
    There are two official-size soccer courts for practicing five-a-side soccer and other activities with damping impacts system. That is: as the players run the structure beneath the wooden floor minimizes the impact.
    Everything with a modern architectural structure which values the Company's employees. Gradually the company is expanding the infrastructure.

    A CHRISTMAS DREAM Special sponsorship to the Thousand Voices Choir.
    Each year thousands of people watch in front of the Church in Pato Branco, the Thousand Voices Choir/Sementes Guerra, performance.
    A show broadcast to Paraná state which attracts attention to the beautiful choreography and incredible sound.

    CANARIES Atlas has sponsorship several music CDs with emphasis on the "Arretirança" of Facete Family.
  • WRITINGS WHICH REMAIN
    WRITINGS WHICH REMAIN Atlas Electric Appliances is the largest supporter of the regional literature development.

    The company sponsored the books: "Warring Times" by Rafael Sega, with a reprint about the Federalist Revolution;

    "In the fire, the bright and history of a people" by Elizabeth and Mary Chemin Neri France Fornari Bochese, a children’s about the industry history in Pato Branco;

    "Teachers Reflective Practice, possibilities and limits" by Dirceu Ruaro, about new teaching methods for adults;

    "Study of the Key-Factors on the Farmer Way, by Agostinho Barrinuevo, involving the experiences with the rural family homes;

    CORPORATE CITIZEN'S CONTENTS Pioneering respect to internal employees and the commitment with to community causes.

    This is one of the bases of Atlas Appliances which pioneered the total subsidy to workers in their transport from home to workplace and vice versa.

    An initiative adopted even before the emergence of specific laws on the subject. In the cafeteria food employee is accompanied by a nutritionist and has symbolic values is a most encouraging to those who operate the company.

    What's more, the company is present in virtually all actions of Community participating with internal employees and managers, or even providing financial support.
