Through Prosdocimo Guerra Institute children have received Esperanto lessons, which is an international language with more than 100 years, being recognized by UNESCO as cultural value, which has recommended its teaching to all the United Nations members.
Spoken by more than one million people in the world, it is among the 13 most common languages on the Internet. Its roots is from Latin, and contain fragments of English, Spanish, Portuguese, French.
Advantages: Ease learning. Often considered easier than English; ensures the equally concept among people and allows international exchanges and friendship. Universal language that does not improve just a few nationalities. The idea of building a more equal world has led Atlas Electric Appliances to sponsor the language spreading, being the great promoter of the International Youth Esperanto - IJK, in Pato Branco, where, in 2005 gathered participants from 23 nationalities.
In Pato Branco, in Nova Espero village , the Esperanto founder, Polish humanist and linguist Lazaro Zamenhof, received a special tribute by the building of a great gate made with iron, created by the artist Kalu Chueiri.
The work with the IJK, received six pages featured on the Brazilian magazine "ISTO É".
